DUBAI: Held at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm hotel, the first-ever DS World Dubai brought the ultimate experience in digital dentistry to more than 800 registered attendees from 47 countries. The debut event, which took place in February, 2023, featured two days of superb dental education, networking, and innovation.

Following DS World success in Las Vegas and other cities, the world-renowned event made its Dubai debut, where attendees were able to hear from some of the world’s most established dental experts. The busy two-day program included exciting mainstage presentations, live demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and case discussions covering a broad range of topics across dental disciplines.

International speakers and live workshops

The impressive educational program for DS World Dubai 2023 featured more than 30 clinical education courses. Topics spanned nearly every area of dentistry, including digital dentistry, implantology, endodontics, restorative, and clinic management, with presentations from 12 international speakers such as Dr. Michael Norton from United Kingdom, Dr. Marco Martignoni from Italy and Dr. Daniela Aggio from Brazil.

Presenting the latest innovations in digital dentistry

As the ultimate experience in digital dentistry, DS World Dubai 2023 gave attendees the chance to experience the latest innovations from Dentsply Sirona’s digital universe live. The spacious exhibition area featured stands covering different areas of dentistry, including Digital Laboratory, Digital Implantology, Digital Innovations, The Root to Crown Solution, Digital Restorations, and Digital Impressions.

Highlights included the the medical-grade PrimePrint Solution 3D printing system and the laptop-based Primescan Connect intraoral scanner.

DS World Dubai 2023 also saw the launch of DS PrimeTaper in the region – a premium tapered implant system with a progressive thread design to deliver lasting bone care and enviable esthetics. Attendees were able to see the implant system first-hand, along with the next-generation ProTaper Ultimate endodontic solution, AH Plus Bioceramic Sealer, CEREC Zirconia+ blocks, and CEREC MTL Zirconia blocks.

United for better dentistry

DS World Dubai mirrored the same energy and excitement as in previous DS World events, showcasing solutions and uniting the dental community to help transform the industry and positively impact the world.

The event ended with a Gala Dinner at Jumeirah Beach Hotel with a view of the famous Burj Al Arab, where guests had a chance to continue networking, meeting peers from all over the world and exchanging ideas.
