ISLAMABAD: The HITEC Dental Alumni Council (HIDAC) organized its official launch in the capital city recently.
The event was attended by Maj Gen Shakir Ullah Khattak, HI(M), the Patron-in-Chief and Chairman of HITEC, and Prof Dr Irfan Shah, Principal of the HITEC Dental College, besides alumni from different batches, and faculty members.
Leading the alumni is the Executive Council, comprising the students who receive valuable guidance from honorary members. Their primary mission is to foster unity and understanding among all alumni batches to bridge any communication gaps that may exist.
The Council has already initiated several exciting activities, including career counseling sessions led by renowned dentists.
Dr Sabeen Aymen Bukhari not only conducted an insightful career counseling session but also delivered a captivating lecture on genetic engineering, while Dr Zulfiqar Ali Durani spoke about dental career opportunities in the United States.
In addition to these activities, the alumni recently organized a diversity hike followed by a delightful brunch.
Many other academic and co-curricular activities are in the pipeline for the near future, promising an even brighter journey for HIDAC Alumni.
