IMDC holds grand white coat ceremony for BDS 2025–2028

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC) recently hosted a grand White Coat Ceremony to formally welcome the newly inducted first-year students of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program for the session 2025–2028. The event was a remarkable milestone, not just as a formal induction but as an inspiring celebration, marking the beginning of their professional journey in the field of dentistry. The formal proceedings of the White Coat Ceremony began with a warm welcome address by Prof. Dr. Haroon Shahid Qazi, Principal of IMDC's Dental Section. Maj Gen (R) Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam, Vice Chancellor of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), and Dr Khurshid Ahmad, Project Director IMDC, also delivered motivational speeches. Their words resonated with the students, urging them to approach their academic journey with a sense of purpose, integrity, and a thirst for knowledge.  Dr. Khurshid Ahmad specifically highlighted the need for holistic development, emphasizing the importance of dedicating oneself not only to studies but also to extracurricular activities for personal growth.
