Bolan Dental College launches academic series with dental case study

QUETTA: Bolan Dental College (BDC), Quetta, officially launched its weekly clinical case presentation series with a compelling and interactive session on “Management of Root Perforation and Sodium Hypochlorite Extrusion Injury.” The academic initiative was spearheaded by the Operative Dentistry Department, setting a high standard for future interdepartmental learning events.

The first presentation of the series was delivered by Dr. Rozina Sattar, a Postgraduate Resident (PGR-IV), and focused on the challenges, treatment protocols, and clinical decision-making in managing root perforations and related chemical injuries. The session was structured to combine evidence-based learning with real clinical insights, making it highly relevant for all levels of dental professionals.

The presentation was followed by a dynamic Q&A session, moderated by a panel of esteemed experts including:

  • Talha Asad Tareen, Associate Professor and Head of Operative Dentistry

  • Fahad Saleem

The post-presentation discussion was fully interactive, encouraging active participation from the audience comprising students, house officers, postgraduate trainees, and faculty members.
