KARACHI: The inaugural national dental presentation competition 2025 has officially been launched, marking a major national initiative to promote academic excellence, creativity, and professional development among Pakistan’s dental community. Hosted by Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry (LCMD) through its online academic committee and organized in collaboration with BOSCH Pharmaceutical, the legacy edition aims to spotlight innovation and inspire the next generation of dental leaders.
The competition is open to individual participants from all 63 dental colleges across Pakistan, including undergraduate students, postgraduate trainees, faculty members, and general dentists. With a strong emphasis on elevating academic standards, the event encourages participants to produce original presentations showcasing creativity, scientific understanding, and the power of visual communication.
Themes designed to inspire creativity, social impact
The competition offers a diverse range of themes, allowing participants to explore key areas shaping dentistry and public health in Pakistan. Themes include:

- The power of visual design to inspire
Originality is mandatory, and only individual entries are allowed—group submissions are not permitted.

- Creativity and design: 40%
- Technical skills, including animation and transitions: 30%
- Clarity and flow of content: 20%
- Overall impact and theme relevance: 10%
The top 20 presentations will be shortlisted based on these metrics. Shortlisted participants must present live on the day of the event, and absenteeism will lead to disqualification.
