Kathmandu, Nepal: Dr. Mahmood Shah, President of the Pakistan Dental Association (PDA), was awarded a prestigious accolade on behalf of the PDA during the 2nd National Dental Conference and the 10th World Dental Sciences and Oral Health Conference.
Held recently at Kantipur Dental College in Kathmandu, Nepal, the event brought together renowned dental professionals, experts, and participants from various countries, including Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Kenya.
Dr. Shah's leadership and contributions to the field of dentistry were recognized as he received a shield representing the PDA at the conference.
In acknowledgment of his exceptional dedication to advancing dental education and practice in Pakistan, Dr. Shah was also honored with the Friendship Award by Kantipur Dental College, which not only celebrates his achievements but also the bond between the dental communities of Pakistan and Nepal.
Thanking the Kantipur Dental College for the recognition, Dr Shah highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange among dental professionals worldwide. "Receiving this award is a humbling experience. It underscores the significance of international cooperation in advancing dental care and education. I am honored to represent the PDA and Pakistan on this esteemed platform," he said on the occasion.
The 2nd National Dental Conference and the 10th World Dental Sciences and Oral Health Conference provided a platform for sharing cutting-edge research, promoting collaboration, and best practices in dentistry.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to continue working towards enhancing oral healthcare globally.
