KARACHI: The medical and dental community is mourning the passing of Dr. Siraj ul Haq, a distinguished academician and director of the Department of Medical Education (DME) at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). His profound contributions to postgraduate medical and dental education in Pakistan earned him nationwide respect and admiration.

With decades of experience in curriculum development, faculty training, and policy advisory roles, Dr. Siraj ul Haq played an instrumental part in shaping the future of medical professionals in Pakistan. As Director DME at CPSP, he was at the forefront of designing high-standard educational frameworks, ensuring quality in postgraduate training, and fostering academic excellence in line with global best practices.

His death marks an irreplaceable loss for the academic and healthcare sector.

Pakistan Dental Association pays tribute

The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Central Council, under the leadership of its President Dr. Khurshid Ahmad, issued a formal condolence message expressing deep sorrow over the demise of Dr. Siraj ul Haq.

"we recognize and honor his lifelong dedication to medical and dental education. his passing is a tremendous loss to the academic community," stated the PDA condolence message.

May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, and bless his family, colleagues, and students with strength to bear this profound loss. A'ameen!
