KARACHI: Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) had the privilege of hosting Dr Tariq Javed, Professor and Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA.
During his recent visit, Dr Javed delivered an insightful lecture on the classification and treatment modalities of periodontal disease to the AIDM house surgeons, BDS students, and faculty members.
The event also served as a platform for engaging discussions on mentorship and post-graduation opportunities. It was organised by Prof Dr Hasnain Sakrani, Prof Dr Naseer Ahmed, and Dr Resham Nadeem. Prof Dr Ambreen Afzal, the Head of Orthodontics and Dean of Academics at AIDM, was also present.
The lecture by the respected scholar enriched the academic atmosphere, promoting knowledge exchange at the institute.
