Karachi: Dr Arshad Hasan, professor at the Dow Dental College, Department of Operative Dentistry has been appointed as Principal of Dow Dental College.

Dr Arshad Hasan a graduate of KMDC, FCPS from CPSP and PhD Scholar in Endodontics/ Endodontology started his career as a Demonstrator at KMDC.

Through sheer dedication and hard work he became Senior Registrar and then Assistant Professor and Head, Operative Dentistry at Hamdard University. Later Dr Arshad joined Dow Dental College as Administrative head of the Endodontic and Restorative Dentistry Unit, Supervisor of MDS Operative Dentistry program and Member, Scientific Committee, Institutional Review Board, Dow University’s Board of Studies and Purchase Committee.

He is also the Finance Secretary of the Pakistan Dental Association central council and President IADR Pakistan section.

Dr Arshad has a number of publications to his name and working as Associate Editor at Journal of Dow University of Health Sciences and Associate Editor at Journal of Pakistan Dental Association.
