LAHORE: The Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences (FJIDS) successfully conducted the BDS First Year Block Examinations for colleges affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS), with participants highlighting the smooth organization and supportive environment.
According to details, the examinations were arranged with a focus on maintaining transparency, efficiency, and student convenience. From logistical arrangements to examination halls and supervision, the process was managed in a structured manner, ensuring minimal disruption for candidates.
The examinations were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Armaghan Mirza, Dean of FJIDS, whose leadership emphasized maintaining high academic standards. The operational responsibilities were handled by the Examination Cell of the Department of Medical Education (DME), led by Dr. M. Azeem, Director DME, with support from faculty members.
Key roles in the examination process were performed by Dr. Sadia Hasan, Dr. Aamna Amanat, and Dr. Rabiya Saif as Block In-Charges, while Dr. Aamir Rafique and Dr. Sana Akram served as UHS Examination Censors. Their coordination ensured compliance with UHS regulations and smooth conduct throughout the examination period.
Officials from UHS, including the Controller of Examinations and Dr. Sarah Ghafoor, visited the center and appreciated the arrangements. Students and examiners from affiliated colleges also expressed satisfaction with the overall management and environment.
The successful conduct of these examinations reflects ongoing efforts by FJIDS to maintain quality and organization in academic assessments, contributing to improved standards in dental education.
