Pakistan’s first ABOI diplomate Dr Irfan Qureshi formally recognized at AAID conference in the US

AROZINA/KARACHI: Dr. Irfan Qureshi has been formally recognized as Pakistan’s first diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), marking a historic achievement for the country’s dental profession and elevating its presence on the global stage of implant dentistry. The distinction, regarded as one of the highest international qualifications in oral implantology, was personally confirmed and acknowledged by ABOI president Dr Justin David Moody.

Dr Qureshi’s board certification, completed earlier this year, was celebrated during a special ceremony at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 14, 2025, where new diplomates were honored for meeting the board’s rigorous standards of clinical excellence, academic depth, and professional competency.

“Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah,” Dr Qureshi shared in his statement. “Earning the highest global credentials in implant dentistry has been a long and challenging journey, but every step has been worth it knowing that it brings pride to my profession.”
