Karachi: Sindh Governor and Chancellor Dow University Health Science (DUHS) Dr Ishratul Ebad, on the advice of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has appointment Prof Dr Umar Farooq as the acting vice chancellor of DUHS.
Later, at a ceremony held at Dow Medical College (DMC) to felicitate Prof Umar Farooq on his appointment as the acting vice chancellor of DUHS, senior faculty members, administrative staff and students of the university, gave him a rousing welcome and presented bouquets.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Farooq stressed the need for making joint efforts for the progress of DUHS and sough the faculty members’ support in bringing improvement in administrative affairs of the university.
He also expressed his gratitude to the faculty members, administrative staff and students for their continued support to him.
