AIDM hosts 3D shade matching workshop

KARACHI: The Prosthodontics Department at the Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) recently organized a workshop titled “3D Shade Matching” to refine the students’ proficiency in accurately matching shades in dental prosthetics.

Led by Prof. Dr. Naseer Ahmed and Dr. Wajiha Zia, an FCPS resident, the workshop explored advanced techniques and methodologies in 3D shade matching.

Through a blend of hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions, the students attending the workshop were equipped with the latest tools and insights aimed at enhancing their expertise in this specialized area.

The workshop was facilitated through joint efforts and inputs by Dr Shuja Adil, Dr Hudal Adil, Dr Ayesha Anis, and Dr Ibrahim Dars.

By ensuring a conducive learning environment and offering practical guidance, the workshop not only broadened the students’ knowledge base but also instilled confidence in their clinical abilities.
