AIDM hosts hands-on workshop on facebow transfer

KARACHI: A hands-on workshop titled “The Art of Facebow Transfer,” was organized by the Department of Prosthodontics at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine recently for final-year students.

The workshop, facilitated by Prof Dr Naseer Ahmed, Dr Shuja Adil, and Dr Huda Adil, began with an in-depth lecture, followed by a comprehensive demonstration of facebow transfer techniques from patient to articulator.

Participants were then given an opportunity to practice the facebow transfer on skulls, allowing them to refine their skills in this crucial prosthodontic procedure. The initiative underscores the institute's commitment to clinical excellence by equipping students with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for their professional growth.

The collaborative efforts of the entire Prosthodontics Department greatly contributed to the workshop’s success, enhancing the learning experience for all participants.
