Recently, one faculty member, Dr. Dinaz Gandhi, and two students of Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine, Gulhina and Rabeea Afzal had the opportunity to be a part of the "Bridge to Peace" program and attend the 69th Indian Dental Conference held in New Delhi, India.

During the Opening Ceremony they were introduced to Dr. Mahesh Verma, the Principal of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences and the man responsible for ensuring that they received an invitation and attended the conference.

The next morning, they were received by Dr. Mahesh Verma accompanied by the Dean of Temple University and the founder of the Bridge to Peace Program, Amid Ismail. The program aims to get dental professionals from across different countries to interact and form connections that transcend their nationalities. This was followed by a tour of Maulana Azad University with Dr. Verma.

They were then taken to a hall where the meeting for "Bridge to Peace" program was held. They were introduced to students from the university, some faculty members and dental practitioners.

The representative students interacted with prominent dentists and professionals, were treated with respect and dignity and made to feel right at home.
