LAHORE: Akhtar Saeed Dental College (ASDC), Bahria Town, Lahore, recently organized a seminar titled "Career Counseling & Insights Into Current Dental Practices in the UK", featuring distinguished speakers from the dental field, offering insights into dentistry in the United Kingdom.
Speakers, including practicing dentists from the UK and France, namely Dr Kashif Hafeez, Dr. M Sumair Khan, and Dr. Zain Mahmood, addressed the seminar.
They shared with the audience their expertise, covering topics such as "What UK has to offer?", "Aligners in Dentistry," and "Complications of Dental Implants." The presentations provided the attendees with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary dental practices in the UK.
ASDC Principal Dr. Sabir Hussain, alongside Prof. Dr. Col. Iffat Batool, Dean of ASDC, and Prof. Dr. Khalid Saeed, Head of the Department of Paedodontics, hosted the event, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
The seminar attracted a diverse audience, including college faculty members, house officers, and final year BDS students. Attendees were provided with an opportunity to gain guidance regarding potential career paths and the latest trends shaping the field of dentistry, particularly in the context of the United Kingdom.
