ISLAMABAD- The much trumpeted CME implementation in Pakistan may be in doldrums. The link of CME/CDE guidelines on the PM&DC website disappeared today without any notification from the PMDC.
When contacted there was no response from the landline numbers provided on the PM&DC website. It is pertinent to mention that most of the associations were against this haphazard implementation as PM&DC implemented it without making proper arrangements for its delivers across Pakistan.

It is interesting to note that the PM&DC renewal link still has accredited CME/CDE as one of the listed mandatory documents. This sudden disappearance of PM&DC guidelines may create confusion amongst the healthcare professional seeking renewal of their license.
