Eight female dental surgeons appointed in Baluchistan

The appointment of female dentists brings bright prospects in the current scenario, where the number of non-practicing Female Dental Surgeons is increasing in the country. Such measures will create more opportunities for female dentists

 Health department of Balochistan has appointed eight new Dental Surgeons in different areas of Balochistan. The recruitment was done via Balochistan Public Service Commission. The exam was held in two phases in December 2012 and March, 2013.

The appointed doctors are; Dr. Mahwish Qundeel at Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital Kuchlak, Dr. Gulkhanda Tareen at District Health Quarter Hospital Ziarat, Dr. Naveen Fatima & Dr. Saman Mehmood at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayyed Hospital Quetta, Dr. Samia Shafiq at Rural Health Center (RHC) Umerabad District Pishin, Dr. Shazia at RHC Malazai District Pishin, Dr. Sadia Zulfikar at Police Line Hospital Quetta, Dr. Rabia Zulfikar at Killa Saifullah.

The appointment of female dentists brings bright prospects in the current scenario, where the number of non-practicing Female Dental Surgeons is increasing in the country. Such measures will create more opportunities for female dentists to practice and continue their professional engagements. The need of the hour is to further facilitate and encourage the young female graduates to engage them in the mainstream healthcare profession.
