KARACHI: Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC) students gave outstanding performance at various contest held as part of the DENTALNNOVATE, during the Healthcare Expo & Conference 2024, hosted by the Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry (LCMD), providing a dynamic platform to promote talent and innovation in dentistry.

Team FJDC made several noteworthy achievements, including being ranked among top five performers in the Poster Competition, showing the students' exceptional research and presentation skills.

In the Quiz Competition, FJDC secured the 3rd position, earning a cash prize of Rs50,000, demonstrating their knowledge and quick thinking. Their creative side was evident in the Reel Contest, with their entry shortlisted for the Film Fest and earning them the 2nd position, along with a cash prize of Rs100,000, manifesting their storytelling abilities and technical finesse.

The students' achievements were a proof of the dedicated guidance provided by their supervisors, Dr. Azam Aliuddin (FCPS Operative Dentistry - FJDC) and Dr. Hibba Kaukab (Manager Outreach - FJDC), whose mentorship was instrumental in preparing them for success.

The prize distribution ceremony, graced by Mr. Zuhair Naseer (CEO of Badar Expo Solutions), encouraging the participating students.

Special acknowledgement was expressed for Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi (Principal, LCMD) for holding an outstanding event, providing a structured and engaging platform for dental students to show their skills and innovations.
