IDEX Istanbul 2024 witnesses record-breaking participation

The Istanbul Dental Equipment and Materials Exhibition -- IDEX Istanbul -- renowned as the second-largest gathering in the dental sector, recently concluded its highly successful show, welcoming an impressive total of 32,120 international visitors hailing from 185 countries, setting a new benchmark for global participation.

Surpassing its own trade volume record, the fair achieved transactions exceeding 300 million dollars, while also boasting over 90,000 visitors.

This year's edition of IDEX Istanbul witnessed an unprecedented influx of international guests, solidifying its reputation as a premier global trade platform for the dental industry.

With representatives from 125 countries, including regions spanning Europe, Africa, the Balkans, Gulf Countries, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Middle East, the event offered extensive networking opportunities and facilitated business collaborations on a global scale.

A notable highlight of IDEX Istanbul was its diverse array of exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge products and technologies from over 5,000 brands. A total of 598 companies participated in the exhibition, including 166 international exhibitors representing 48 countries.

The event's resounding success underscored its  role in driving innovation and facilitating market growth within the dental sector.

In addition to its commercial achievements, IDEX Istanbul also served as a hub for knowledge exchange and professional development, featuring symposiums and hands-on courses led by prominent academics and industry experts, covering a wide range of topics pertinent to oral and dental health. Over four days, more than 80 training sessions were conducted, providing invaluable insights into the latest innovations and advancements in the field.

Preparations are already underway for the 20th edition of the exhibition to be held next year. Organized by the Turkish Dental Businessmen Association (DİŞSİAD) subsidiary company DİŞSİAD Congress and Conference Limited Company, the forthcoming event is expected to set new standards for excellence in the dental industry.

Scheduled to take place at the Istanbul Expo Center from May 7-10, 2025, IDEX Istanbul 2025 promises to be the largest and most impactful gathering yet, reaffirming its status as a premier destination for dental professionals worldwide.
