JMDC honors graduates for their dedication and academic excellence

KARACHI: The Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) recently celebrated the hard-earned achievements of its graduates during a spectacular convocation ceremony held at the PAF Museum Convention Hall. The event honored the commitment, dedication, and perseverance of the students who have completed their rigorous medical and dental education.

A distinguished gathering of academics, dignitaries, and faculty marked the occasion, with notable figures such as Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon, Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), and Prof. Dr. Saeed Qureshi, Vice Chancellor of Sohail University, joining to celebrate the students’ success. The ceremony also featured Dr. Adnan Sohail, Executive Director of JMDC, and the principals of the medical and dental colleges—Prof. Dr. M. Junaid Lakhani and Prof. Dr. Atif Mehmood, along with Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafiq, Principal of the College of Physical Therapy.

The event kicked off with a grand procession of graduates and faculty, a symbolic moment representing the culmination of years of hard work. As the graduates stepped forward to receive their degrees, applause and cheers filled the hall from faculty members, parents, and esteemed guests, acknowledging the graduates not only for their academic excellence but also for their readiness to step into the world as healthcare professionals.
