ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Central Council has formally requested the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) not to process any transfer, sale, mutation or other transaction involving Plot No. C-40, Block 1-A, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi without prior written authorization from the association's Central Council.

In a letter to the Director General of KDA, PDA Central Council President Dr Khurshid Ahmad asked the authority to refrain from entertaining any application related to the property unless it is accompanied by a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or written approval issued by the Central Council.

According to the letter, the Central Council maintains that Plot No. C-40, Block 1-A, Gulistan-e-Jauhar is the lawful property of the Pakistan Dental Association Central Council.

The communication states that the association has received information regarding what it describes as alleged attempts to transfer or otherwise deal with the property without the knowledge or approval of the Central Council.

The letter further states that no resolution has been passed and no authorization has been granted by the Central Council permitting any transfer, mutation, registration or related transaction concerning the plot.

In view of these concerns, the association has requested KDA not to process any application relating to the property unless it receives formal written authorization from the Pakistan Dental Association Central Council.

The letter describes the request as an official notice intended to safeguard what the association says are its legal rights and interests concerning the property.
