PDA Karachi launches “Happiest Dentist Moment” competition for World Oral Health Day 2025

KARACHI: The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) Karachi is inviting dental professionals and students to participate in a unique photo competition—“Happiest Dentist Moment”—to mark World Oral Health Day 2025. With the powerful theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind,” this contest blends smiles, stories, and mental health awareness through the art of visual storytelling.

What is the “Happiest Dentist Moment” contest all about?

This initiative aims to highlight the importance of oral health and its deep connection to mental well-being. Participants are encouraged to submit one expressive, high-resolution photo that captures a joyful, fulfilling moment in their dental journey—whether as a student or professional.

A short description must accompany the image, explaining how the moment reflects oral and mental wellness in line with the 2025 theme.

Submission guidelines

1. Submit one high-quality image featuring yourself (dentist/student).
2. Ensure the image is self-explanatory and relevant to oral and mental health.
3. Attach a brief write-up connecting the photo to the 2025 theme.
4. Only one entry per participant is allowed.

Eligibility criteria

• The competition is open to:
• PDA Karachi members
• Dental students
• Faculty, house officers (HOs), postgraduate students (PGs), and consultants

Note: Finalists must be physically present at the event or will be disqualified.
