KARACHI: Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences conferred the annual Best Teacher Awards on Prof Naheed Gohar for excellence in the field of Basic Sciences, recognising her exceptional contributions to the discipline of Anatomy, and Dr Junaid Shakeel for his contributions to clinical education, particularly in Oral Medicine.

These educators were chosen through a rigorous selection process that involved student votes, subsequently confirmed by the administration to ensure merit.

In a ceremony, Prof Dr HR Sukhia presented the awards, extending heartfelt congratulations to the winners and commending their remarkable achievements in the field of education.

These awards not only underscore the dedication and commitment demonstrated by these teachers, but also highlight their excellence in instructional methodologies.
