KARACHI: Colgate Pakistan, the country's trusted leader in oral care, has launched its "Keep Pakistan Smiling" campaign, as part of Oral Health Month 2024, to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and offer free dental check-ups nationwide.
The initiative, running from September 2 to October 11, 2024, aims to enhance access to essential oral health services across the country.
This year, the campaign will visit 22 cities and over 700 locations, including institutes, clinics, and schools, offering free dental check-ups to students and other people from different walks of life.
Colgate’s continued commitment to improving oral health for all is the driving force behind this initiative.
Meanwhile, an event marking the start of Oral Health Week was held at a local hotel in Karachi. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Prof Dr. Muhammad Khalil Khan, Head of the Periodontology Department & Director of the PhD Programme in Dental Health Sciences at Jinnah Sindh Medical University, and Associate Prof Ashar Afaq, Registrar at Dow University of Health Sciences. Both praised Colgate’s dedication to promoting better oral hygiene under its "Keep Pakistan Smiling" initiative.
Oral Health Week will run from September 2 to September 6, 2024, in Karachi and other major cities in Sindh, as well as Quetta.
The free dental services are available from 9 AM to 1 PM. This initiative highlights the vital role of oral hygiene in overall health, aligning with Colgate’s mission to improve oral health standards across Pakistan.
With nearly 40 years of experience in Pakistan, Colgate continues to bridge the gap in oral health awareness, empowering individuals with the knowledge needed to maintain a healthy smile. The brand envisions a future where the nation’s smiles are brighter, healthier, and free from cavities.
