TAXILA: The Dental College at HITEC–IMS commemorated Pakistan’s Independence Day with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a vibrant celebration that reflected unity, national pride, and commitment to community service.
The day began at 8:30 AM with an Independence Day Walk, where participants carried national flags and chanted patriotic slogans. The walk symbolized solidarity and deep respect for Pakistan’s heritage.
From 10:30 to 11:30 AM, a Plantation Drive was organized on campus, underscoring the institution’s dedication to environmental sustainability and the creation of a greener, healthier learning environment for future generations.
The formal program commenced with the National Anthem, uniting attendees in a shared moment of patriotism. This was followed by addresses from the Principals of both the Medical and Dental Colleges, who highlighted the significance of independence while reminding healthcare students of their role in nation-building and service to humanity.
The celebration concluded with a group photograph, capturing not only the joy of the day but also the collective resolve of faculty and students to uphold the values of freedom, responsibility, and professional integrity.
The Independence Day event at Dental College HITEC-IMS served as a memorable occasion that reinforced patriotism, environmental awareness, and the role of healthcare professionals in shaping a stronger Pakistan.
