Interactive workshop on constructive feedback at BDMC

MIRPURKHAS: The Health Professional Education Department at Bhitai Dental and Medical College in Mirpurkhas (BDMC) recently hosted an informative workshop titled "The Art of Constructive Feedback: Techniques for Powerful Communication."

Conducted by experts, Dr Ali Maqbool and Dr. Muhammad Anique, the event was attended by junior as well as senior faculty members, to refine their skills in delivering constructive feedback within the context of medical education.

During the workshop, the participants engaged in role-playing to explain various feedback models. Through immersive activities, the participants gained practical experience in applying different feedback techniques, enhancing their understanding of how to use them effectively in real-world scenarios.

Dr Maqbool and Dr Anique guided the participants through feedback models such as the sandwich method, Pendleton's feedback model, and other established frameworks.

Prof Dr Laique Theo, Executive Director of Bhitai Group of Colleges (BGOC), and Dr Permanand, the Principal of BDMC acknowledged the dedication and expertise of the facilitators by presenting them with tokens of gratitude, for their contributions to the success of the workshop.

Each participant was awarded a certificate of participation, for their commitment and active engagement in enhancing their ability to provide constructive feedback. This initiative aims to promote an environment conducive to continuous learning and growth.
