KARACHI: The Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) recently held a celebration to recognize its final year BDS students for their remarkable achievement of securing a 100% result in the JSMU Professional Examinations. The event highlighted the institution’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence in dental education and the collaborative efforts of its esteemed faculty and motivated students.
The intimate celebration took place on campus, attended by senior and junior faculty members as well as students from the 3rd and final years of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program. The atmosphere was filled with pride and encouragement, showcasing JMDC’s strong culture of mentorship and student support.
Team effort, student dedication lauded
Professor Dr. Junaid Lakhani, Principal of JMDC’s Dental College, opened the ceremony by congratulating the students on their exceptional success. In his address, he emphasized the importance of consistency, discipline, and hard work in professional achievement. He also praised the dedicated dental faculty for their vital role in mentoring students and ensuring high-quality education standards.
“This milestone is not just the students’ triumph, but a collective victory for our entire faculty and academic system,” said Dr. Lakhani.
Celebration, cake-cutting, and shared joy
Students were then invited to the stage for a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and shared joy. Group photographs captured the special moments and served as a reminder of the collective dedication that led to this achievement.
The event concluded with warm interactions among faculty and students, reflecting JMDC’s mission to foster not only academic rigor but also a supportive and celebratory learning environment.
