During the presentation, the speaker emphasised the adoption of AI in different areas of dentistry, including operative dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and prosthodontics.
AI applications in dentistry can be classified into four categories: diagnosis, decision-making, treatment planning, and treatment result prediction. Among these, diagnosis and treatment planning are particularly popular.
The audience gained insights into various AI applications, such as predictive analytics, virtual consultations, Tele-dentistry, and platforms like "Overjet." Towards the end of the session, participants had the opportunity to address their queries.
