PDA (Sindh) Calls Meeting on Sales Tax Issue

Karachi: PDA (Sindh) in collaboration with PDA (Central Council) held a meeting recently to discuss the recent imposed 13% Sales Tax on Dentists.

Prominent among those who attended were; Dr.Mahmood Shah (PDA Sindh President), Dr. Saqib Rasheed (PDA CC President), Dr. Mervyn Hosein, Dr.Kamran Wasfy, Dr. Asif Arain, Dr. Shah Faisal, Dr. Masood Zakai, Dr. Younus Bhaila, Dr. Anwar Saeed, Dr. Nasir Khan and others.

The meeting was held at Karachi Golf Club. It was decided that a multi-pronged strategy comprising of meetings with Sindh Chief Minister, Commissioner Revenue, as well as, Legal Options will be utilized against this Unjustified 13% Sales Tax on Dentists.

It is also announced that all those Dentists receiving Sales Tax Notices should immediately contact Dr. Saqib Rasheed and Dr. Mahmood Shah.
