KARACHI: The Department of Health Professions Education at Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), under the leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Navid Rashid Qureshi and supervised by Dr. Sabaa Shahid, in charge of DHPE, recently organized a successful workshop on Item Analysis for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The workshop aimed to strengthen the capabilities of faculty members by deepening their understanding of item analysis and improving their ability to interpret resulting data effectively. Facilitated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Professor of Surgery at Dow University, the session provided participants with comprehensive insights into the intricacies of item analysis.

Prof. Zubair's extensive knowledge and expertise were lauded, as he conveyed complex concepts clearly and understandably.

Hands-on activities were a key component of the workshop, allowing participants to apply their newfound knowledge in practical scenarios. These activities were designed to help them practice interpreting item analysis data effectively. Mr. Moiz Majid, Officer at DHPE, provided logistical and administrative support throughout the event.
