General Dentistry Lectures and Correlated Hands on Workshops KARACHI – Prof.Dr. Mahmood Haider, one of the pioneering Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons of Pakistan, graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest of the General Dentistry Lectures and Correlated Hands-On Workshops Course. He said that Academy for Advanced Dental Sciences has taken a brilliant initiative by mobilizing students and dental professionals towards Continuing Dental Education.

The course that spanned over a duration of 12 sessions was a comprehensive one where all the important aspects of dentistry such as; Endodontics, Paedodontics, Preventive Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry and Fixed Prosthodontics.

Dr. Syed Nabeel Ahmed was the facilitator for the Endodontic Module. This module commenced with Rubber Dam Isolation on dentoforms. All 22 participants were detailed about the correlation of file design and approach towards achieving optimal results. All steps through instrumentation were then demonstrated to the participants before they underwent the hands-on session on level 2 Endo-blocks under direct supervision of Dr ShoaibDurrani. -PR
