AIDM conducts oral health screening for Special Olympics athletes

KARACHI: The Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) recently hosted an oral health screening session for Special Olympics athletes under its 'Special Smiles' initiative.

The event was attended by prominent leaders from the Asia Pacific region and Mrs. Ronaq Lakhani, Head of the Pakistan Chapter of the Special Olympics.

This initiative was carried out by a team of professionals, including Prof. Dr. Hasnain Sakrani, Prof. Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Dr. Shaheena Altamash, Dr. Imad Altamash, and Dr. Resham Nadeem, with support from volunteer house surgeons at AIDM.

The event showed the institute’s continued efforts to promote oral health and provide care to all, especially those with special needs.
