BDC, Colgate conduct oral screening of 2500 students of eight schools

KARACHI: The Baqai Dental College’s Department of Community Dentistry and Colgate recently carried out a week-long oral screening activity involving 2500 students of eight private and public schools as part of their community outreach programme in Gadap Town.

The project covered GBSS Dumba Village, Rangers Public School, Askari Grammar School, Ujala Islamic School, GGPS Rustam Goat, GBPS Sheedo, Maisa Public School, and Saleemullah Fehmi School Unit 1.

Officers, to enhance awareness about oral health and nurture the habit of maintaining oral hygiene among school children.

During the activity, free samples of Colgate were also distributed among the participants.

According to the BDC management, such initiatives are indispensable for promoting oral health standards and facilitating access to essential care.

It termed the exercise involving the younger generation crucial to impart long-term dental health and hygiene habits.
