BUDC holds e-poster contest among 3rd year BDS students

KARACHI: The Department of Operative Dentistry at Bahria University Dental College (BUDC, BUHSCK) recently organized an e-poster competition for third-year BDS students.

The event was conducted by Dr. Umeed Javaid and Dr. Imtiaz ul Haq under the supervision of Dr. Shama Asghar, Head of the Operative Dentistry Department.

Dr. Aneeka Anwar, Senior Registrar at the Pediatric Dentistry Department, was invited to judge the competition.

Students were tasked with developing e-posters on clinically oriented topics such as isolation methods, matrix bands, setting reactions of materials, and polishing methods. The students explained their posters in front of the judge and audience.

After a tough competition, Laiba Batool and Taskeen Fatima were declared the winners.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Aneeka Anwar distributed certificates among the winners and praised the efforts of all participants, saying that such events complement classroom learning and provide students with an opportunity to showcase their talents.
