QUETTA: The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) recently held a highly productive workshop on Dentistry MCQ construction and a retreat for FCPS Part 1 at its regional office in Quetta.
At the event, which focused on the evaluation and effective construction of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), Prof. Ambrine Afzal, Councillor of Dentistry, was the chief guest.
During the workshop, Prof. Ambrine delivered a presentation on the various components of MCQs and their effective construction, providing participants with valuable guidance on the nuances of MCQ development.
Prof. Dr. Mehmood Hussain, Head of Prosthodontics at Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) Karachi, also gave a comprehensive presentation on prosthodontics. His session included a detailed discussion with Prof. Ambrine, adding depth to the subject matter.
Prof. Dr. Hussain is known for his contributions to both national and international conferences and hands-on workshops. He is also an examiner and supervisor for Prosthodontics at CPSP, Secretary of the Prosthodontics Committee at CPSP, and Regional Coordinator for the Pakistan Prosthodontics Association.
The workshop was supported by Prof. Nabiha Farasat, who played a crucial role in coordinating the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
The CPSP workshop contributed to the professional development of participants and advancing the standards of dental education and practice.
