Oral health awareness programmeheld at BDC

KARACHI: Community dentistry department of Baqai Dental College recently organized oral health awareness programme at Salimullah Fehmi School’s Unit-1. Baqai Medical University has launched a project aimed at eradicating oral health problems in different communities, especially in the rural areas of the city where awareness about oral health care and treatment is almost non-existent.

The event was supervised byHead of Community Dentistry Department,DrAsghar Ali Shigri, while members of his team included DrMumtaz, Dr Ali Leghari, DrMahwish, DrRazaand second year students.

Importance and benefits of a healthier mouth was highlighted on the occasion, while free dental screening was arranged for the maintenance of good oral hygiene, says a press release of the college.
