Colgate holds dental care camp at FJDH

KARACHI: In collaboration with Fatima Jinnah Dental Hospital, situated in Azam Town, Colgate organised a five-day free dental camp to promote oral hygiene on a broader scale, bringing together a proficient team of healthcare professionals, including seasoned dentists and house officers, who volunteered for the activity.

The core objective of the event was to offer complimentary dental checkups to patients, thereby addressing their potential oral health concerns proactively.

Through comprehensive examinations, the dental team efficiently identified any issues and provided guidance on oral hygiene practices and necessary treatments.

As a gesture of goodwill, each patient visiting the dental outpatient department was presented with a care package by Colgate, containing samples of their premium toothpaste and toothbrushes to equip patients with the means to continue their oral care regimen at home.

During the five-day activity, the dental camp catered to the needs of some 800 patients, who lauded the effort to provide them an opportunity to receive professional dental care from a reputable institution without any financial burden.

On the occasion, Dr Hussain Askary, CEO and Head of Community Dentistry at FJDC, emphasized the collaborative efforts to promote oral health and overall well-being. He thanked Mr Shariq Siddiqui, Manager of Professional Relations & Sales at Colgate, acknowledging his dedication that played a pivotal role in the event's success. He also appreciated the entire teams of both Colgate and FJDC for their collective efforts that not only enhanced oral health but also left an enduring impression within the community.

This event serves as a reminder of the significance of oral health and the transformative impact that collaborative initiatives can have on the well-being of society. It stands as a testament to FJDC's steadfast mission to create healthier, happier smiles, one community at a time.
