KARACHI: Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC), through its Fast Track Dental Clinics, partnered with ICP Pakistan to deliver 50 free dental check-ups, reinforcing its commitment to accessible oral healthcare and disease prevention.
This initiative aimed to enhance dental awareness, promote early diagnosis, and encourage preventive oral care among community members. It was led by Dr. Sana Mateen (In-charge, Fast Track Dental Clinics & Consultant Dental Surgeon), alongside Dr. Muneeba Ashraf and Dr. Moiz Aftab, both highly skilled dental surgeons.
Raising Awareness for Long-Term Oral Health
As part of the initiative, Dr. Sana Mateen conducted an Awareness Session, highlighting:
✅ The importance of regular dental check-ups
✅ New advancements in dentistry for better oral health
✅ How early detection can prevent cavities and gum disease
✅ The significance of preventive dental care for long-term well-being
Approximately 50 employees of ICP Pakistan benefited from this free oral health screening. In addition to check-ups, attendees received educational materials covering:
- Proper brushing and flossing techniques
- The role of diet in oral health
- Tips on preventing gum disease and tooth decay
- Through this initiative, Fast Track Dental Clinics aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain optimal dental hygiene.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hussain Askary, (Head of Community Dentistry & CEO - FJDC), expressed his thoughts on the initiative:
