COLOGNE: The International Dental Show (IDS) 2025 has reaffirmed its position as the world's leading dental trade fair, drawing more than 135,000 visitors from 156 countries to Cologne, Germany. The event, held earlier this year, showcased the power of global collaboration and cutting-edge innovation in the dental sector, solidifying Germany’s leadership in the global dental industry.
Organized by the GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, IDS 2025 provided a powerful platform for knowledge exchange, technology demonstrations, and investment opportunities. The event not only strengthened partnerships but also created momentum for future-forward innovation in oral health technologies.
IDS 2025 sets new standards in dental trade and innovation
From AI-powered diagnostics and robotic dentistry to smart hygiene systems and biomaterials, IDS 2025 highlighted how far dental innovation has come. The show floor buzzed with activity, with dental professionals, researchers, manufacturers, and investors exploring new products and forming global networks.
The high turnout from international attendees, despite prevailing global challenges, underscored the growing importance of IDS as a must-attend event for stakeholders in the dental ecosystem.

Building on the massive success of IDS 2025, organizers have announced that the next edition of the trade fair—IDS 2027—will take place in Cologne from 16 to 20 March 2027.
